Why We’re Updating Our Prices for September 2026

At FIFTH Movement, our mission is to build lifelong healthy habits in children through excellent physical education, on-site swimming, engaging after-school clubs, and safe, high-quality holiday camps. We are proud to partner with primary schools across Greater Manchester and beyond, and we know that schools trust us not just to show up, but to create long-lasting impact.

As we look ahead to the next academic year (starting September 2026), we want to be open about a small increase to our prices from April 2026. This decision supports the quality, consistency and sustainability of our provision and is guided by three core things we know matter to schools and children:

1. Rising Costs in the Sector

Over the past year, Government policy has changed the landscape for employers in the UK:

  • The rate of employers’ National Insurance contributions (NICs) has risen, and the level at which employers start paying NICs has been lowered.

  • The National Living Wage and National Minimum Wage has also increased, bringing much-needed additional income to millions of workers but raising operational costs for employers who want to pay fairly and ethically.

These changes are a result of the UK Government’s latest budgets and are designed to support workers, a goal we wholeheartedly support. But they also mean that the cost of running high-quality, compliant provision has gone up.

2. We Believe in Paying Our Employees Fairly

At FIFTH Movement we choose to pay our team above the minimum required, with competitive rates, training opportunities and investment in wellbeing and professional development.

We do this because:

  • Children benefit from experienced, well-supported staff.

  • Schools deserve delivery partners who stay consistent and reliable.

  • Our team members should be valued for the incredible work they do every day.

We believe that well-paid, well-trained, well-supported staff deliver better outcomes for children and that’s worth investing in.

3. Ensuring Quality and Consistency in Everything We Do

Schools choose FIFTH Movement because we care about:

  • Safe and positive experiences for children.

  • Clear lines of communication with school leaders and families.

  • Rigorous quality assurance that ensures every session aligns with your values and expectations.

Maintaining this quality, from planning and delivery to ongoing training and support, requires investment: in people, in systems and in time. As costs rise around us, we want to continue delivering the best possible experience, not cutting corners.

What This Means for You

From April 2026, there will be an update to our prices for the next academic year. This change allows us to:

  • Continue paying competitive, fair wages
  • Maintain strong quality assurance
  • Invest in training and professional development
  • Provide the excellent service your school community expects

We will be in touch with your individual pricing details and options well before April and we’re here to answer any questions you or your leadership team may have.

In Partnership

We value the trust schools place in us every term, every week and every session. Our commitment remains the same: to work with you as a trusted partner in children’s physical development and wellbeing.

Thank you for your continued support and collaboration.
